It's been a long time. A really, really, really, really long time. And many things have happened since...sigh.
Let's see.
As expected, I got fired. Not that I'm complaining. That place was a total hell hole anyway. Heck, they paid for me to leave, so it was a pretty good new year's present. Oh yea, it happened on new year's eve. How's that for having something to celebrate about?
So I took the money and went on a holiday. Actually, I went on 3 holidays. And I caught the Jacky Cheung concert in Hong Kong. Not that it was anything great. Instead, I was a tad bit disappointed. The Hong Kong people are just too well behaved. Hello! This is a concert! Sigh. It was a totally different experience from the two Jacky concerts I attented in KL. Then again, I can now say I've been to a Jacky concert at Hung Hom Stadium!
And now? I'm just taking things easy, trying not to let trivial things ruffle my feathers. Oh, yes I am working again. Doing the same sort of thing I've been doing all this while. Only difference is it's freelance. Not that it makes much of a difference as I work normal office hours (okay, that's an understatement. I work more than the normal office hours). I've got another month to go with this agency I'm at. And although the workload is crazy most of the time, I do believe I rather like it there. What a big difference compared to that previous hell hole. It makes you wonder how that hell hole even existed - a sad sorry excuse of an agency. Oops, I forgot. That hell hole doesn't exist anymore. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
So anyway, I don't know what I'm going to do after this month is up. Going on another holiday sounds like a mighty good idea. Only dilemma is where to go this time? Frontrunners include Toronto, Switzerland and Beijing. We'll see when the time comes...
