I will never be a soldier or a cop or whatever that requires me to run about in the dirt, throw myself on the ground or have bullets whizzing past me at high speed.
Bluddy scary it is. Not to mention dirty and painful too.
Who would have thought harmless little balls filled with coloured vegetable oil that look a bit like those little soft bath balls Body Shop sells could cause so much injury?
When they're travelling at a speed of 328km/h, believe me they can. And I have the bruises to prove for it. *ouch ouch ouch* There's one the size of a tennis ball on my right thigh. I have to readjust my bra strap so that it sits a little off the top of my shoulder because there's another bruise the size of a golf ball on my right shoulder. Having the seatbelt on when you're driving (seatbelt goes across right shoulder, see) is a very painful affair.
The word, 'Paintball', now conjures up feelings of extreme fear. Now I know why they call it an extreme sport. An extreme sport that is extremely painful and extremely scary and extremely tiring and oh, extremely expensive. Well...it is extremely fun too. You get to hold a semi-automatic air rifle powered by carbon dioxide (or was that hydrogen? I can't remember. I got shot twice on the head. That should account for the amnesia) and run around in the hot sun, blindly spraying your enemy with paint 'bullets'. Pretty cool. If it wasn't so painful.
I am battered and bruised and my body is protesting overtime. And I cant stand this particular Account Manager at work!
Ive never known a pest till I met this guy. Argh. He just hovers around you. You try to ignore him but theres this buzzing discomfort thats always there. Oh, and did I mention hes such a chicken too. I mean, this guy is so afraid to do anything. Client tells him to jump, hell just ask, how high? Hello? Any brains in there? Oh, who am I to kid? Obviously his brain is that the size of a chickens brain too.
Patience. Patience. Patience.
Thank goodness I only have another 2 days to go.
